What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving that Anniston is starting to feel better- thank goodness.  I took her to the doctor Monday after she screamed for what seemed like hours on Sunday.  Her right ear was infected:(  Poor baby!  Thankfully, we got an antibiotic and she will hopefully be back to normal by Christmas!

I love these Medi-pouches that I found on Etsy last week!  They are little bags that go in your diaper bag to store medicine and droppers.  You can choose your fabric!  They fronts are covered in a plastic material so nothing will get on the fabric if anything leaks out.  I bought one for a gift and one for me!  

I love these little holiday treats that I'm going to make (or attempt to make) for Christmas get-togethers.  I'm trying to give off the impression that I'm super mom and can bake cute treats even with a 10 week old!  HA!  We will see....

I am loving the book "The Lucky One" by Nicholas Sparks.  I recently saw the previews for the movie and thought I would read the book first.  The book was awesome- and the movie looked just as good!  Can't wait for it to come out.  Such a powerful story!

And last- I'm loving this gold eyeshadow from Bare Escentuals.  I use it so much during the holidays for a golden sparkle look!  Instant holiday glam!

My Christmas Wish List

Merry Christmas to ME!  Since some of these things are on the expensive side, I wished for money and gift cards to go towards these items.  I'm still not sure which ones I'm going to get with my Christmas money, so we will see!

 Kate Spade tote.  I LOVE this bag. I think this would be really useful to tote all my stuff to work in.

 Calligraphy address stamp on Etsy.  Love the idea of this but not sure if I want a stamp or not.  I may just end up ordering return address stickers like I did last time- but regardless, this is really cute!

 Kate Spade gold rose bangle.  I've mentioned this before but I really want to buy this to go with the gold rose Michael Kors watch that Allie is getting me for Christmas!:)  Thanks Allie!

Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow palate!  I have the original Naked palate and I LOVE it.  I wear shades from it all the time and I love to toss it in my makeup bag if I'm traveling because you have so many choices.  

Fashion Friday!

Colored pants are SO in right now.  I was thrilled when J Crew came out with some colored denim toothpick jeans.  I ordered me a pair in a FABULOUS bright blue the other day when J Crew had a 25% off promotion.  I haven't received them yet but I've got tons of ideas of what to wear with them.  I created this set on my polyvore the other day- I think it's pretty cute and funky.  I can't wait to get them in- I might need some other colors too...

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving watching old seasons of Gossip Girl right now.  I'm about to run out of movies and such to watch on DVD so I'm gonna need some new stuff after I finish with this.  I just can't do daytime TV...

I'm loving this cute smocked romper I bought for Anniston to wear in the spring.  I got a great deal on it.  It's from Smocked Tots on Facebook and they do online auctions every Tuesday and Thursday night.

I LOVE this Kate Spade bangle in rose gold.  I saw it at the party last week and I'm thinking I MUST have it.  It will go great with my Christmas present from Allie!

Allie and I went by Lush in Oak Court Mall last week and I stocked up on some bath goodies.  I have loved using them every night in my bath.  My favorite is the Christmas Eve and Gingerbread bubble bars.

A Great Weekend

This past weekend was really great.  Brandon had the day off on Friday so I went to Pavo Salon to redeem my gift card that he had gotten me for my birthday.  I decided to get a deep tissue massage- and boy, did I need it. I'm actually a little sore from it!  They use aromatherapy during the massage and the entire experience was simply euphoric! Anniston was a little angel Friday afternoon.  She sat for the longest time in her bouncy seat watching Brandon bike on his stationary bike and watching me wrap Christmas presents.  After about 3 presents I just couldn't wrap anymore- I wanted to play with her so badly!  She was being so good.  Funny how I get frustrated when she's fussy and I can't get anything done but once she is actually good I can't stand not playing with her- nevermind how much stuff I have to do!  Friday night we took her to meet Mom and Dad so Brandon and I could have a nice dinner and a much needed full night of sleep.  I lasted until about 9:15- I was so tired!  I slept like a log.

I spent Saturday finishing up my wrapping, washing clothes, and doing a little cleaning. I started not feeling great Saturday afternoon- motion sickness, something I ate? I have no idea.  On Saturday night, we headed to Jackson for the Hopper Christmas get-together.  Anniston was so good and I hate I didn't really get to enjoy it because I was feeling so bad.  She got lots of great toys that we have already been playing with.

On Sunday Brandon and I lounged around the house that morning, playing with Anniston.  She is such a great mood in the mornings and it's so fun to sit and play and talk with her.  Sunday afternoon Allie and I went to see "New Year's Eve."  It was really cute and better than I expected it to be.  Brandon was such a good Daddy to watch Anniston for a few hours while I got out of the house.

I can't believe we only have 2 weeks before Christmas!  Whoo hoo!  Happy Monday everyone!

Right Now

I saw this post over at Little Moments Like This and thought this would be fun to do and to look back on years from now.

Right now I am...

watching:  Some TV show Brandon is watching on the History channel titled "Epic History of Everyday Things" and watching Anniston in her bouncy seat.

eating: Nothing.  We have nothing to eat in this house right now.  Need to make a grocery run...

drinking:  What else?  A diet coke, of course.

wearing:  Pajamas- it's only 9:00 am on a Sunday morning so it's ok!

avoiding:  Having to sit down and decide about a caregiver for Anniston when I go back to work.  We actually have some great options.  It's going to be hard to choose!

feeling:  So much love for my little girl- especially when she looks at me and smiles!

missing:  Getting a full night of sleep like we did on Friday night.  Oh I miss those days!

thankful:  For family.  I have a great husband and a beautiful, healthy baby girl.  I am so thankful that she is healthy.

weather:  Chilly!  Sun is out but it is COLD!

praying:  That everything works out when I go back to work.  I pray that Anniston will be in good hands and  that I will be able to cope with having to leave her every day.

needing:  A place to put all of Anniston's toys.  She recently got a lot more toys and we need to figure out a place to put them all!

thinking:  That Anniston is such a good baby to sit here in her bouncy seat watching me type and watching Brandon bike on the stationary bike.  She looks so content to just look around.

loving: Tthe fact that I bought Anniston some cute little headbands off of Etsy yesterday.  She has recently been wearing headbands really well so I wanted to get her some really cute ones!  I found the most adorable Christmas one to wear with her Christmas dress I bought at CottonTails!

Kate Spade Party!

Thursday night mom came in town to watch Anniston while Allie and I attended the Kate Spade party out at Saddle Creek.  I knew this was going to be fun- but it turned out to be a blast!  The window to the store was decorated in true Kate Spade style with a little holiday sparkle.  

There were so many people there- all enjoying a glass of champagne, fancy appetizers, and a 20% off discount on anything in the store.  Allie and I jumped right in to join them all.  I wasn't really planning on buying a lot- my main goal was to get a small wallet that I could carry in some of my smaller crossbody purses.  I did end up getting one- and found a few more things along the way:)

 Here is a picture of my colorful boxes with all my goodies inside!  Merry Christmas to ME!  Love the way that Kate Spade packages your purchases.  It makes it so fun!

 Here is my fabulous wallet that I bought. I love that it is super slim so it will not take up a lot of room in my purse.

 I could not resist this purse.  I'm picky about my crossbody purses so it's hard to find ones that I like.   I have been loving carrying these type purses now that I have Anniston so I can be hands free!  I love this gray color and best of all- it fits my iPad!

This last purchase was totally not necessary- but you need those types of purchases every once in awhile.  It's a spade sparkle ring.  I tried it on and knew I had to get it!  It's so dainty and fun and wasn't all that expensive.

Over all we had such a fantastic time.  I can't wait until Anniston gets old enough to enjoy shopping with me.  Brandon will be in big trouble!
