Anniston is 2 months old!

My baby girl is growing up so fast!  Today she is 2 months old!  She is getting so much stronger- she can already hold her head up for short periods of time.  In fact, we've tried sitting in our Bumbo seat and walking around in our baby carrier.  She now loves to laugh and smile at everyone.  She is happiest in the mornings- she will smile and coo and laugh for anyone who wants to play with her.  We try to read at least once a day.  We read Elf on the Shelf, Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas, and some Dr. Suess books.  We also try to have play time on our activity mat.  She can kick one leg over the other and get to her side, but hasn't been able to quite master the rolling over yet.  That's ok though, it's still really early!  She is doing better at sleeping at night and is starting to have a lot more awake time during the day for us to play and talk. We weighed her earlier this week with our home scale.  Looks like she's coming in at around 13 lbs!  Whoa baby!  She has outgrown some of her outfits in the 0-3 month range.  She can still fit into some, but they are getting a little snug!  We go to the pediatrician on Monday for her 2 month checkup and to get her shots.  I'm not looking forward to it:(  I can't believe how fast she has grown!  Happy 2 months Anniston Ruth!  We love you:)
